SOS - Save our Sweeper! I hope King of the Mountain turns out to be a one-off - I hate to think we've seen the last of the Sweeper.
We've had the Crusher, Tooth Brush, Dodgeballs etc. - anymore ideas for future Sweepers?
Two from me. Firstly, the Up and Under. Basically it's a double Sweeper arm (at 180 degrees), with a regular sweeper arm to jump over on one end, and on the opposite end a high sweeper arm to duck under.
And secondly, the Rain Bars. Basically set up like the Crusher, but with water pouring down off the top arm.

maybe a big pacman going back and forth on the bottom bar to make the contestants jump over him , and then as it goes around it goes faster like it ate an energy dot!!

I can't exactly remember if they've had this already, but what about a Double Sweeper? Like, one Sweeper going one way and another going the opposite, however contestants have to duck under one and jump over the other.

That is great, but it might be harder to film, seeing people will be knocked off on opposite sides of the "Field" -for lack of a better word -at the same time.

True, but a great idea. Fairly simple idea too.

This is my idea indstead of the sweeper. I call it the hang bar. Contesants have to hang on two small ropes, which they put their hand through, while the bar rotates around the pool gradually speeding up, it also move up and down. Contestants are allowed to hit each other and try to knock them off. Once a player has fallen others can use those hanging straps to manouver along the bar. The last still hanging will get a $1000 bouns. If contestants stay on for more then three minuets they will get stuff thrown on them e.g. water, plastic balls.

SO the contestants must hang onto the rings as long as they can?

That could work, but hanging by your arms is very tough, so the round would be over pretty quickly.
I think they've got the right balance this year alternating the Sweeper and King of the Mountain - though they need to vary King of the Mountain more.

Man, I just love king of the mountain. I'm more of the competitive type.

We had the toothbrush sweeper in season one, so how about the toothbrush king of the mountain? have bristles along the walkway to the mountain, and surrounding the platform at the end of the arm. Oh, and make the platform [glow=red,2,300]rotate[/glow] like an electric toothbrush.
