Is casting for the upcoming season still going on? What's the time frame for applications and when does the show air?

I think that you should allow people to audition who live outside of Cali! There are so many people who would love to be on the show(including me!) that don't live in Cali! Come on change that rule!! ;D

A strange requirement. Considering the other versions fly people from across the world to Argentina, I don't see why the US producers can't fly people from other states to California. I think their idea is that if they can find all the people they need in CA, why pay more? How much money do they think they'll have saved when all of us from other states file a class action discrimination lawsuit on the producers and ABC?

Yes, I know that everyone wants that rule changed. They're not discriminating, they're just picky. I believe a court of law and a jury would see things differently. National telecast, but limited to contestants only from California...I am afraid that equates to discrimination. Most game/reality shows allow anyone to participate at their own expense at getting to the taping location (some actually pay for the contestants travel) and therefore are perfectly legal. However, by stating only California residents may participate and then broadcasting and/or advertising nationally, Wipeout and ABC are clearly discriminating. Anyone who agrees with me, let me know you email address...we can contact each other and hire an attorney to start class action proceedings against the producers and ABC.
