I have designed a wipeout course (unofficially); here it is: The ramp on the qualifier is still normal (and not an obstacle); To cross the mud on the first real obstacle, the contestant must use two small poles (about 5"-7" diameter) to get to the middle platform, and the same thing to get to past the obstacle. For the sucker punch, water will be pouring off the top, just like the climbing wall in the wipeout zone. The big balls are unchanged. For the last obstacle in the qualifier, the contestant must use a pole vault to land in a bubble bath. Next of course is the sweeper, with a new obstacle to overcome with it - streamers. This will probably make the sweeper round take less time. The road to the final four will feature the dreadmill. Contestants must make it to the end of the dreadmill, which involves three cookie-cutters. To make it even harder, evil hipsters will be pouring tennisballs onto the dreadmill. The wipeout zone will be mostly normal, except for killer surf, which will have obstacles on it like the qualifier round from episode 9. That's the course. It's 8pm now, so good night, and big balls.

Wow! Great idea. It would be neat to draw a map or something! I like the idea about obstacles on killer surf. That would be good too. It's 10:30 here, so I am getting to bed now, too.

OP: Nice job, I really like your Sucker Punch idea.
Here's mine.
Contestants run down the ramp, covered with mud, to the water, where they cross a seesaw/balance beam called the Balacing Act. For the Sucker Punch wall, the rocks are taken off and the ledge is wider. I wouldn't change the Big Balls either...and for the final part of the qualifier, I'd have the Pillar Swing, where contestants swing from a rope onto a small pillar. If they miss, the pillar is wrapped with ropes, so they can climb onto it, which stops the clock.
For the Sweeper, the contestants wear snowshoes.
Next is the Dizzy Dummy. and the two obstacles are: the Pyramids (two straight lines of pyramid-shaped blocks) and Slippy Bridges (narrow beams slicked).
Finally, the Wipeout Zone. I'd get rid of Killer Surf and have the contestants slide down a zip line into the water, where the next obstacle is Triple Threat. BUT I'd put the second triangle above the other two. For the Spinner, I'd put a jungle gym on it. Finally, instead of the Launch Pads, we'll have the Trapdoor Run, where a long beam is installed with a trapdoor with a hinge in the middle. If you're not fast enough...SPLASH! If you make it across the Trapdoor Run, you have to cross a Big Ball to the final platform, where the last clock stops.
What do you guys think?

Wow, you really though that over and I love it! Great Ideas there. Makes me want to try it even more! The sweeper idea is a good one. If season two still uses the sweeper, I bet they'll pick up on that one.

Another one:
Qualifier:
Hurdles: The ramp has three hurdles on it that the contestants must jump over. The ramp is very slippery this time, so missing will be costly.
Shrooms of Doom (inspired by Henson calling Bouy [sp?] Run that): Above the water, four mushroom shaped platforms that lean every way possible.
Mud Beam: Contestants cross a slippery beam over the mud pit while being pelted with various objects.
Big Balls
The Big Jump of Death: Finally, contestants run down a platform, jump on a trampoline, and try to land on a ball.
Sweeper:
Every so often, the platforms spin incredibly fast. And they're done one at a time, just so contestants never know when it will happen.
Dreadmill:
Contestants wear 8 inch heels and run while a powerful hose is spraying them. If they stay on longer than a minute, then dodgeballs are thrown at them.
Wipeout Zone
Killer Surf: Contestants are on a surfboard.
Evil Elevators: Three platforms move up and down at different speeds about seven feet apart. Each has pillars on it in various patterns.
Spinner: No pillars. Just a huge hole in the middle.
Wind and Water: Contestants are on a series of platforms while a powerful wind is aimed at them. They must jump from platform to platform. Also, like the Dreadmill, a powerful hose is spraying them.

Spinner: No pillars. Just a huge hole in the middle. What if you fall in? Isn't that the point of Wipeout! Anyhow, downloaded a couple of US episodes last year and got hooked. A shame though our UK version has got some of the basics wrong, meaning a poorer show as a result, but hopefully they'll fix these things in the future. Whatever the show though, I always think I can do better so here is my idea: Wipeout: Grand FinaleBasically at the end of the season the weekly winners return, along with the fastest runner-ups from the Wipeout Zone to make up the 24 contestants for a big money grand finale to crown the overall season champion. And the course is tweaked with this in mind:. The QualifierAs it's the final it also takes a couple of elements from later rounds - so we begin with the Tippy Tables (IIRC the US call them something different) across the first pool before the Sucker Punch, and of course, the Big Balls. The qualifier then ends with the Spinner, with the contestants having to land on the spinner and then leap off it onto a platform. If they fail the first time they have to try again, but the second time they can swim to the podium. The SweeperStill in season one mode here, so the sweeper is round 2. I think a combination of extras from previous rounds - so add the Spikes of Doom, give them dodgeballs and then have smoke or water spraying out of the arm too. Dizzy Dummy DreadmillCombining the two elements - first they get dizzy, then they have to cross the obstacles in the pool and climb onto the dreadmill, running along it to the finish line. First four to the Wipeout zone. The Wipeout Zone - Finale SpecialTwo things from previous rounds I'd have for the finale. Firstly, the balls at the bottom of Killer Surf - that created a fantastic visual effect. And secondly, the foam to make swimming that much tougher. The barrel run would remain, along with the Spinner (even though it's used in the Qualifier too), and then to end the finale Wipeout course I think it's only fitting that the Big Balls make a guest appearance - and this time they have to cross them to make it to the finish line.

These are all very good ideas, And I wouldn't be suprised to see some in the two upcoming seasons. so add the Spikes of Doom, The toothbrush

[glow=red,2,300]I would love to see some of these obstacles on the show a it would be a great course.[/glow] QualifierRope leap(contestants have to go down the start ramp, which is raised slightly, the jump to a rope which is hanging above the pool. Then swing to the next rope and land on the ground) Wall punch (like the sucker punch but they grasp a small ledge above them and move along by hanging while the boxing gloves punch out, there is no platform underneath) trampoline launch (contestants run and jump onto a trampoline then grab a net, if they fall off the net or don't reach it they climb up a ladder) The Big BallsDomino run (they must run along large domino's while a sweeper arm is knocking the domino's over, so they need to be quick) the tumble tube (contestants run through a rotating tube with holes in which they must avoid falling through. if they get through there is a zip wire at the end which they go down to reach the finish.) Round 2 The hang barLook at my idea on sweeper ideas. Round 3 The TowerContestants climb up inside a tower with different obstacles in it while at the top water and mun is being poured in. Once at the top they go down a huge water slide. Wipeout Zone20 meter drop (the contestant is in a box 20m above the water, when the siren sounds the floor opens and the contestant falls into the water) Mad wheels (like gears of doom bur they're wheels instead. They also only move by your weight and not automatically) Bowl spinner (Like the spinner but it slopes down from the outside it the middle then jump of the other side to a platform. If they fall they try again until they do it. Swings of doom (like the swings from the qualifier but these have holes in coved by foam which the contestants can fall through, also ,like the mad wheels, they move to your weight, they need to cross 3 altogether then jump onto a platform) The rope slide (a steep slide, like the aqua launch, with a rope hanging down and water falling as well. The contestants use the rope to climb up but if they fall they must start again. The slippery road to the finish (Once at the top of the rope slide contestants must go down the slide on the other side then along a large slippery road. When they are near the end loads of water get tipped down the road sending them back to the beginning) I hope you like my new course!

I made another course hope u like it! [glow=red,2,300]Qualifier[/glow]Spinning Platforms: After going down the ramp and over the floats they arrive at the mud pit. Above it are 6 spinning platforms decreasing in size and speeding up as u go further along. The Wall (part 1): Contestants walk along a small ledge like on the sucker punch then a load of water falls on them knocking them into the pool. The Wall (part 2): They walk along another small ledge which slowly moves in wards until there is no ledge left. Demolisher: They run up a ramp to a raised platform then climb on top of some blocks and get down the other side. If they wait too long on the blocks then a huge wrecking ball swings down and knocks the contestant and blocks into the water. The Big Balls (with motivator) The Rope Drop: Contestants are faced with a pool of mud with 20 ropes above it. They must swing to the other side but if they grab certain ropes they will fall. Trap Door Run: They run along a long platform with 3 trap doors in, if they step on the trap door they fall through into the water. The Finish Line: Contestants walk along a narrow beam that is covered in grease to the finish. [glow=red,2,300]The Sweeper Bowl[/glow]Contestants all stand on the edge of a large bowl with a hole in the middle. Contestants try to knock each other off without falling themselves while avoiding the sweeper arm that rotates around trying to knock them off. Once they have the final 6 ice cold jets of water squirt up from the rim of the bowl distracting the contestants. The last person standing wins $1000. [glow=red,2,300]The Big Wheels[/glow]![]() C:\Users\Public\Pictures\Sample Pictures\Wipeout (The big wheels).png[/img] Contestants start at the same time then jump onto each rotating wheel until they get to the top. (after about 10 wheels) [glow=red,2,300]The Wipeout Zone[/glow]Spinning Slide: Contestants enter the wipeout zone by going down a slippery slide that spirals down into the water. The Tea Cups: 3 spinning cups mounted on a wall which they must cross. Pillar Leap: 10 small pillars which contestants must leap across ten get to a platform on the other side while a sweeper arm is trying to knock them off. Wrecking Ball Swing: Once on the platform contestants climb up a ladder then grab hold of a wrecking ball which is waiting at the top. They then swing down and try to land on a large platform. Wall Push: They run along a path that has a wall on. In the wall are 3 blocks that knock them off. The Huge Ball: Contestants climb up a ladder and jump onto a huge red ball (twice the size of 1 big ball) then go to the other side where there is a zip wire which they go down. The Button: They swing on a rope to a wall where they hit a button if they hit the button a load of water falls on them. They then climb up a net to a platform. Motivator Push: The motivator pushes contestants down to a small platform where 4 wrecking balls are waiting they run along the platform trying not to get hit. The See Saw: They go onto a huge see saw then jump on a trampoline then bounce up onto the finish platform. Hope u like my course.
