I would suggest cutting right back on the number of forums if I were you. It's never good when there are more sub forums than posters. Personally, I think it adds much more organization, which is why I started this forum. If I get rid of them, someday I will need to add them back, and then it would be a mess of moving threads and topics. Maybe so, if the forum ever became popular enough. It doesn't appear you're ever going to have that problem. Wipeout is an entertaining show, but it's not the type of show that creates a lot of discussion. It's a simple show, and because of that, it calls for a simple forum. The current labyrinth format actually discourages people from posting/joining, because they're not sure if they're in the right place, and even after they make a post, they often can't ever find it again. Just my opinion, though. I was actually looking for a thread where people were comparing the American hosts to the Australian hosts, but I was unable to find anything.

if you type the address in to goggle maps and then select street view (a bubble should pop up)and turn all the way around then go left down the street a bit you will see a large gate with "sable ranch" on it from street view.

I noticed that, I believe that name is in the FAQ. t looks like street view originally went inside sable ranch, too, but it now has been removed to the outside.

I just checked google maps and google earth. They don't have anything better than what you already have. And there's not going to be anyone better than google. Not true... Bing.com Maps (formerly Live.com Maps) has a much better views than Google in their "Bird's eye view" feature -- you can see the course location from four different angles, and the photos were clearly taken when the Wipeout course was in the early stages of construction! One of the pools is already built and filled, you can see the holes have been dug for other pools, and you can see a parking/staging area where there are blue stairs, blue wedges, and other blue-clad foam pieces piled up. A conical mound of dirt may be the beginnings of the spinner? You can also get clear side views of the house and shed/barn that are adjacent to the set and clearly visible on TV. www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?v=2&FORM=LMLTCP&cp=pqwfd753z47y&style=b&lvl=1&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&scene=33222091&phx=0&phy=0&phscl=1&encType=1As someone mentioned earlier, this is the Sable Ranch, located at 25975 Sand Canyon Rd, Canyon Country, CA. (Use the rotation controls to see different angles)

Holy thread resurrection Batman! In case anyone finds this thread via a search (as I did) and wanted to know the co-ordinates for the two Wipeout courses, here they are: California course used only for the US production:maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=34.376401,-118.411771&spn=0.001979,0.00515&t=k&z=19 Argentina course used for all international productions:maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=-34.411145,-58.704849&spn=0.003957,0.0103&t=h&z=18

Wipeout is filmed at Sable Ranch, at 25975 Sand Canyon Road Canyon, in the hills east of Canyon Country, CA. maps.google.com/maps?q=25975+Sand+Canyon+Road+Canyon+Country,+CA+91351&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=25975+Sand+Canyon+Rd,+Canyon+Country,+Los+Angeles,+California+91387&gl=us&ll=34.376281,-118.41153&spn=0.002156,0.003449&t=h&z=18

If you search "Sand Canyon Road & Little Tujunga Canyon Road, Santa Clarita, CA", you'll see it just to the south. And if you zoom in all the way, you'll get a 45 degree shot of the current course (2011).

I went to the Sable Ranch location on the chance that I could get a look at the big balls. The gate was closed at the entrance. You can not get a view of the course from outside the gates. However, you can see a storage area where they keep the props. The location is fairly easy to get to. Just go up Hwy 14, east of Santa Clarita, and get off at the Placerita Canyon Road exit. Follow Placerita until it ends, which will be Sand Canyon Road. Take a right (South) onto Sand Canyon Road, and the road executes a 90 degree left turn. That's where the Sable Ranch entrance is. This image is what I could see from the front gate, with my camera zoomed in: img88.imageshack.us/img88/9109/wipeout.jpg
